Career Goals Essay As a child I wanted to be on the NFL. I used to watch football every Sunday and I imagined myself scoring the game winning touchdown in the super bowl. I still watch football today, but being in the super bowl in no longer my career goal. Now that I am older, my career goal is to be an electronic engineer. I’m really good at working with electronics such as DVD players, TVs, microwaves, computers and other electronics. If there is ever an electrical problem in the house, I’m the first person they call to come figure out what the problem is. I’m also good at getting viruses off the computer. I know how to do a lot with electrical wires, not really the things professionals do because I'm not a professional yet but just the little things. In fact I am so good at it that working in that field is what I want to do as a career. In order for me to achieve my career goal, I have to take a lot of steps. I would have to graduate so that I could go to a college that has an engineering course. I think a school like ITT Tech or any other school of that nature would be the right school for me. I still would like to go to a college where I could live on campus. I’m also thinking about going to the navy so that my tuition for college could be paid off in full. The navy would be better for me at first because I don’t have to pay for school. At this present time I just need to concentrate on doing school so that I could go to college and achieve my career goal.
